Between form and essence

Carina Camargo (1985) lives and works in Ribeirão Preto. An advertising professional, designer, and visual artist, she constructs her poetics from the dialogue between structure and sensitivity—between the rigor learned in design and the desire to recompose what time corrupts. Her trajectory in the field of visual communication gave her technical repertoire and formal clarity, but it was in the silence of the studio that she found what truly moves her: the return to essence. Between flat colors and intuitive gestures, Carina transforms learned rationality into a gesture of listening—a way of restoring presence to what has been lost. Her compositions explore the encounter between the geometric and the organic, harmony and the unexpected.

Influenced by geometric abstraction and Brazilian neoconcretism, her work inhabits the space between form and the invisible, where structure and soul finally meet.
